Polish leader Andrzej Duda may travel to the United States to meet with future US President Donald Trump.

According to Gazeta Wyborcza, Andrzej Duda’s flight to the United States was planned for Friday, November 8. The publication cites an unofficial source of information and notes that the president was to meet with US President-elect Donald Trump.

The plane with Duda was supposed to take off at 10 p.m. on Friday. However, in response to a request from Polsat News, the Office of the President of Poland replied that no trips were planned for November 8. Instead, they did not provide any clarification on whether the visit would take place at all.

According to Gazeta Wyborcza, Duda is going to a party organized by Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was also supposed to be among the invited guests.

Duda was to return to Poland on November 11, the country’s Independence Day. After that, the Polish president was to visit Baku to take part in the UN Climate Summit COP29, which will be held on November 11-22.

As a reminder, the US presidential election was held on Tuesday, November 5. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican representative Donald Trump competed for the presidency. According to preliminary media estimates, Trump won, as he received more than 270 votes.
