Volodymyr Kreidenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People political party, has moved into a newly purchased apartment in one of Kyiv’s modern residential districts of Pechersk.

Information about this first appeared online thanks to his wife’s Instagram posts, at the end of 2022, according to investigative journalists from Bihus.Info.

However, this property was not listed in Kreidenko’s financial declaration for that year. Also, neither the MP nor his wife are registered owners of this property. According to a journalistic investigation, since the fall of 2022, the property has been owned by Volodymyr Kreidenko’s father. The cost of the 111-square-meter apartment is estimated at about $200,000.

After a journalistic inquiry, the MP admitted that he had changed his place of residence. He claims that he moved to his father’s apartment in January 2023. Until then, he had only occasionally visited there. Therefore, he did not include this information in his 2022 declaration. He also noted that his father had enough money to buy this apartment by selling a house in Melitopol and running a business selling cherries.

Kreidenko said that his father sold the berries in large quantities to different countries of the world, developing his business.

Volodymyr Kreidenko was born in Melitopol but moved to Kyiv when he was 17. In the parliamentary elections, he was number 123 on the list of the Servant of the People party. At the time of the election, Kreidenko was the head of the all-Ukrainian youth NGO Conscience and Hope of Ukraine.
