The meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council will be dedicated to further strengthening cooperation. In addition, NATO foreign ministers will discuss ways to improve the structure of assistance to Ukraine.

Before the Council meeting, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba made several official statements. Afterward, a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Alliance member states is scheduled to take place.

Stoltenberg reiterated that support for Ukraine is not a manifestation of charity but an important investment in the overall security of the Alliance. In addition, the Secretary-General noted that during the meeting, the parties would discuss opportunities to strengthen cooperation and “how we can help you move towards NATO membership.

Also, according to Stoltenberg, the ministers will discuss opportunities to increase support for Ukraine, as well as consider creating a “more predictable structure for providing assistance.”
