Yesterday, January 29, social media and some media outlets in Ukraine were filled with rumors about the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.

This information was intensively discussed after “insights” were spread by Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of the European Solidarity party, Boryslav Bereza, a former MP, as well as some media and Telegram channels.

However, the rumors were denied by presidential spokesman Serhiy Nikiforov, who said that the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces had not resigned.

In the evening of the same day, Zaluzhnyi responded to the “fake news” by posting a photo on his Facebook page with the Chief of the General Staff, Serhiy Shaptala.

Despite the absence of any commentary under this photo, it is assumed that Valeriy Zaluzhnyi deliberately responded to the rumors by hinting that he was continuing his work.

Amidst the spread of so many rumors, a large number of social media users began to actively spread memes about the “stuffing”. Here are some of the most interesting jokes:
